Dear Surya Tech Limited, 

I don’t know about you, but I find it hard to believe that it's been a year to the day since we first went into lockdown.

Today, all of us at NHS Charities Together will be taking time to remember and reflect on all that has happened. And if you have experienced loss and hardship this past year, please know that we are thinking of you too.

But I also wanted to write to you on this significant day to say a huge THANK YOU for your support and to let you know that NHS Charities Together is determined to Keep Caring.
 
When the pandemic hit last year, you were one of many kind, generous people who showed their support for our amazing NHS teams. As a nation, we came together to look after the hard-working, dedicated people who were looking after us – and it made a huge difference to their morale and wellbeing.

I know that because, over the course of the year, I’ve spoken to many NHS staff about the effects of your generosity.

Whether your gift helped pay for a hot meal after a long shift, a place to stop and take a break, or just made sure there was someone there to talk to, I can assure you that you helped someone in the NHS feel cared for and supported.

Now, a year on from lockdown, I really hope the worst of the Covid crisis is in the past. But as I’m sure you know, its effects are still being felt in the NHS.

That’s why, last week, I pledged to NHS teams across the UK that NHS Charities Together would continue to be there for them in 2021. That we would Keep Caring and provide them with the support they need.

And I hope that, as the year unfolds, you’ll be part of that vital mission. Because without your ongoing generosity, we simply won’t be able to support the 1.5 million staff who have never stopped – who have continued to work through the hardest of times.

We’ll be in touch again soon to tell you how you can play your part and Keep Caring in 2021. But until then, thank you once again for your support, your compassion and your generosity.
